Terms for weekend bookings

Bodega has taken off extremely well in Harrogate and we are getting some really amazing feedback from all our customers.

Unfortunately over the past few months on several occassions people are booking tables and not turning up.

This is really not fair on us as a business and not only affects our turnover, it can mean sometimes we turn away our regular customers.

We appreciate that things change and people make other committments.
From out point though, imagine a table of 20 that is booked and only 12 turn up, it means that we have turned away 8 other seats to potential customers that are trying to eat with us. Food goes to waste and we lose a large amount of revenue.

We know that by implementing a booking deposit system that some customers may not like it and choose not to dine with us, but if you are really passionate about our food & restaurant, then you will not see it as an issue.

So from here forward we have decided to implement a £10 per head booking deposit on Friday, Saturday & Sunday bookings.

The system is very simple, if you would like to dine with us at weekends and require a table for 3 or more people, then we require to take a £10 per head deposit. This deposit will be refunded to your final bill after eating with us.
Should you wish to cancel that booking then we require at least 24 hours notice to issue a refund of the deposit. Should you give us less than 24 hours notice, then you will lose your deposit and it cannot be refunded.
This also applies to bookings for tables of 8 or more, where the cancellation period moves to 72 hours or more. Again should you give us less than 72 hours notice, then you lose the deposit for the people who do not show.

We know this may sound harsh and some of you may not like it, but we know that our regular customers will continue to support us and keep on enjoying the warmth, passion and amazing food that we provide to you at Bodega Steak House.
